Description

Large and shapely deep red double flowers that keep their colour. Good disease resistance. Raised by Gurteen & Ritson, Surrey (UK) 1954 from a sport of Ena Harkness from a cross between Red Dandy x Piccadilly. One spectacular flowering, then a continuous display for the rest of the season. The large blooms tend to hang downwards - which may be seen as a defect in the bush form, but are an asset in the climber!
