Raised by Eric Stainthorpe (UK) 1991 from a cross between Unnamed Seedling × Unnamed Seedling, and was introduced by Battersby Roses in 1991.Miss Hauxwell achieved TV fame in the 1970s after having shared her remote and very frugal dales farming life in the North Riding
