Description
Masses of geranium-red blooms in large clusters. Good disease resistance. Raised by Kersbergen (Netherlands) 1930 from a sport of Superb (polyantha, De Ruiter, 1927), and was introduced by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1931.A hugely important rose as it was the first to exhibit the pelargonidin molecules that give it (and its offspring) that extraordinary brilliance in petal colour. It is healthy and hardy and produces flushes of flowers all season.
