Description

Large, deep pink single flowers with wavy petals, and a golden eye, produced in clusters. Excellent disease resistance. Raised by Harkness & Co Ltd (UK) 1950 from a cross between Rosa rugosa x ?.An excellent rose for ‘wild’ areas, it has rough crinkly leaves, good autumn leaf colour, and large scarlet hips that can appear on the bush at the same time as the later flowers are still in bloom.
