Named after the Scottish plant hunter George Forrest, who discovered over 1200 plant species during the first part of the 20th century during his expeditions to North West China. This is a qonderful small tree, flat white heads of white flowers in spring set against dark blue-green foliage. In autumn the large white berries have a slight tinge of pink and the foliage turns shades of orange and red. A choice tree.
