A lovely little tulip, first introduced in 1952 by the famous Dutch bulb firm of 'Tubergen'. Bright yellow petals with a central red flash, in bud quite tall and elongated but opening out into a delightful 'star'. One of the earliest tulips to flower each spring, excellent for rockeries or pot culture.
