Verbascum chaixii 'Album'

Description

A beautiful perennial with woolly, grey-green basal leaves, formed into a rosette. From the centre it throws up a tall flower spike absolutely covered in creamy white, saucer-shaped flowers, with dark reddish-mauve centres. Needs very well drained soil in full sun, and actually thrives on poor alkaline soils. Height 90cm (36").
