'Culver's Root' or Veronicastrum 'Red Arrows' bears upright branching spikes of deep violet flowers preceded by reddish shoots with circlets of lance-shaped leaves at intervals up the stem. Flowering from late June to early August, and looks superb when teamed with asters in a Prairie Garden. Height to 1.2m
