Western Maidenhair. A great fern from Canada and the Pacific NorthWest for deep shade in very cold wet spots. Lime green fronds sit atop shiny black stems, radiating out in a fan-shape. The leaves will suffer from scorch if subjected to direct sunlight, and needs a soil which is constantly moist. An excellent and useful fern for problem areas.
