Rough Maidenhair Fern. Super little fern for the front of a woodland border - each frond opens rosy pink as it unfurls, maturing to a bronzy dark green. Arching growth. Distributed widely through Africa, Australia, New Zealand and other Pacific islands where it is often found growing in damp areas near rocks or in rainforest. Hardy to about -5C, so needs a sheltered site - or otherwise grow as an evergreen houseplant.
