Description

Another large, quick growing tree, best suited to wet and boggy areas. Most dramatic in the spring when it produces large quantities of very pretty, yellow catkins. These are followed by dark green leaves, often sticky when young. Often used for windbreaks. A native tree to the UK, as well as much of Europe, western Asia and northern Africa.
