Betula ermanii 'Grayswood Hill' Fthd 100-125cm (W)

Said to be the best form of B. ermanii, discovered in a garden in Surrey in 1956. Makes a medium sized tree, broader than it is tall, with a gorgeous creamy trunk overlaid with cooper and pink. Succeeds on most soils, but prefers one that doesn’t dry out in the summer.
