Description

The name of this variety is probably only meaningful if you are 'of a certain age' - and if you are - then the mop-like head of leaves should bring back those heady memories of screaming and swooning fans! This is a deciduous perennial with narrow, bright green leaves that are borne on erect stems and have pikes of golden-brown rather inconspicuous flowers in mid to late springtime.
