Cornus mas

Description

A vigorous, deciduous spreading shrub with wonderful yellow flowers borne along the stems during winter. These are followed by dark green leaves that put on a brilliant display of reds and purples in the autumn. Bears edible, bright red fruits in late summer. Height 5m (15ft).
