Description
Raised in Coul, Ross-shire, by Sir George Mackenzie, this makes a vigorous spreading tree, which bears attractive fruit that are flushed red over gold. Cooks to a brisk lemon froth. Scotlands most northerly growing variety is sweet, with soft cream flesh. Also makes good sauce.
