Description
Dryopteris filix-mas
£0.00
Male Fern. A British native (though widespread throughout much of Europe, Asia and North America), which is a common sight in older woodlands, but still makes a bold garden plant. Strong growing, the near vertical fronds are a fresh grass -green when they emerge, maturing to a darker shade. Allow plenty of space, in its favoured position of slightly damp semi-shade, it will make a large specimen.
