Echinacea purpurea

Description

A tall long-flowering 'Coneflower' that is tough and easy to grow, and whose flowers are attractive to pollinators in eth summer time, and whose seed heads are attractive to finches in eth autumn. The rosy-purple flowers have strong orange-brown raised centres and are borne from June to September. Grows to about 1.5m and is fine in most soils.
