Description
Found in California c1930 and introduced into the UK in 1960. Produces very large, oval fruit with a blue-black bloomed skin. The flesh is firm, yellow and juicy. Considered primarily as a culinary variety but quite sweet and pleasant as a dessert variety when fully ripe. The crops are very heavy and reliable, typically following on from Victoria.
