Description

Fine old variety of apple, believed to originated from the Ukraine in the 1700s and introduced into the UK in 1805. Very large, beautiful pale yellow green fruit with a rosy red flush. Can be eaten fresh, or else cooks to a sweet lemon puree. Vigorous grower, produces spurs very freely. A favourite of the Victorians for exhibition growing.
