Eryngium alpinum

Description

Sea Holly. A showy Eryngium species with heart shaped basal leaves and tall spikes bearing the large bracted, upright flowers, in steely grey and blue from July-Oct. Height 75cm. Full sun, well drained soil. Excellent cut flower.
