Reportedly raised from a seed from America by Mr Fillingham of Swanland, this is another superb historical variety from the old East Riding of Yorkshire. A medium to large good crisp sharp eater, this has the added benefit of being one of the few apple varieties which will grow from cuttings. Superb pink blossom in spring. This self-sterile dessert Apple is believed to have originated from Yorkshire, UK in 1835
