Description

Considered to be the premier cider making variety, although not widely grown. Offers a strong-flavoured bittersharp juice best used for blending, which apparently matures superbly well. An old and traditional west country cider that was very highly regarded, so much so that it was believed to be regularly traded for an equal quantity of fine French wines during the 18th Century.
