Description
An upright growing variety brought over from Belgium around 1860. The fruit are deep crimson over a yellow ground, and tender sweet and mild. An excellent dessert gage for eating straight off the tree, but rather too tender for sending on long journeys, and hence the reasons why it is little seen in commercial orchards. For help with choosing the correct rootstock for your needs, please click here A Guide to Rootstocks
