Description
Introduced in 1871 in Kent by Mr Gascoyne, this variety produces beautiful red and pale yellow-green fruit that are highly prized by exhibitors, which yield an attractive pink juice! The flavour of the fruit is sweet and dry, but with a refreshing acidity. The fruit cooks to a greenish-yellow well-flavoured puree.
