Description

This variety has a good strong growing habit, and is very early to ripen - often the first of the season - and bears prolific crops of golden yellow, hairy fruit, that have an excellent flavour. This variety may be the old ‘Yellow Lion of Ward’ which was introduced in 1825, but Early Sulphur is the name by which it is most commonly known.
