Grape - Muscat of Alexandria

Description

Perhaps “the most deliciously flavoured grape in cultivation”. A vigorous and fertile variety, it has been grown in Europe for several hundred years. Generally regarded as the 'King of Grapes’ it requires a heated greenhouse to bring it to perfection with large bunches of sweet, amber fruits during October. Not the heaviest cropper but the flavour is superb, making it well worth growing.
