Hemerocallis middendorffii

Description

This lovely compact 'Day Lily' bears gorgeous lightly-scented sunshine-yellow blooms that each last for only a day or two at a time, but there are many flowers on each stem and so can flowering can continue for two to three weeks. Tolerant of sunshine and semi-shade, as well as heavy to wet soils - this is an ideal plant for lightening up a gloomy spot!
