Hybrid Berry - Tummelberry

Description

A recent introduction, the tummelberry is a raspberry/loganberry cross that looks like a raspberry in appearance, has one of the longest picking windows of any of the hybrids, and a flavour which is similar to a loganberry (but to its fans, the best of all the hybrids). Tummelberries are particularly hardy, and crop from mid July until the end of August. Best grown on wires on the ‘Guyot’ principle.
