Description

An old Perthshire variety originating at Gowrie farm. Used mainly as a cooker, and has a delicate flavour, but is also good for cider. Makes a vigorously growing tree that is hardy and tolerant of wetter conditions, and which produces round apples with soft sweet-sharp flavoured flesh.This self-sterile culinary Apple is believed to have originated from Tayside, Scotland before 1883
