This is a fantastic ornamental, clump-forming deciduous form of Miscanthus that has attractive narrow, dark green strap-like foliage with a creamy-white stripe at the centre of each leaf. The stunning foliage is accompanied by tassel-like reddish-brown plumes from autumn to winter, which gradually become fluffy in appearance and fade to a silvery colour over winter. Does best in an open sunny open spot, in most soils except wet ones!.
