Description

Miscanthus sinensis 'Red Chief' is a fantastic clump-forming grass with arching narrow leaves that fade yellow in autumn and straw-brown winter. In summer it produces feathery flower plumes of deep maroon-red which persist over winter creating a wonderful effect when frosted. Great as a statement plant on its own, or combined with other late summer and autumn interest plants.
