An interesting and smaller form of Miscanthus growing to just 80cm but with the same fine clumps of architectural foliage. It bears large numbers of attractive silky reddish-brown flower spikes late in the season that fade to silver by winter, at which time the foliage has turned to light brown after the frosts but this still gives form and height in the garden. This plant is also suitable for larger containers.
