This is a sensational, clump-forming perennial grass with beautiful, arching mid-green leaves with creamy-yellow horizontal 'zebra' stripes. Ideal as a specimen plant or for growing in groups in a herbaceous border, it produces silky spikes of pale pink, fan-shaped flower panicles from August onwards and intricate, silvery seed-heads which keep the interest over the winter. Best grown in partial shade to avoid scorch to the variegations.
