Description

One of the best varieties of our native 'Purple Moor Grass' this one is believed to have been named by Piet Oudolf for the Danish nurseryman Poul Petersen, and forms strong clumps of striking, initially purple, upright flower stems, with great autumnal colours. Performs best in a sunny open position, and like all the Molinia it tolerate soils from dry to heavy and damp.
