Description

This easily recognisable evergreen perennial forms dense tufts of arching, narrowly strap-shaped arrestingly black leaves up to 30cm in length, and bears short spikes of small purplish flowers, that are later followed by glossy black berries. ‘Nigrescens’ makes a useful addition to winter containers, adding colour, texture and structure during the coldest months.
