Description

Oriental' Poppies give a bold display of huge, silky flowers in late spring and early summer, and this medium-sized variety bears single deep burgundy-red flowers that have a contrasting dark eye. The foliage remains attractive longer than most older selections, and the plants will sometimes rebloom in the autumn if the flower stems are cut back after the first flush. For cutting, pick flowers just as the buds begin to open.
