Description
Named after one of the owners of Gourdiehill estate, another fine Scottish variety from the early 1800's. The area around Blairgowrie was home to huge orchards around this time - indeed Gourdiehill was reputed to have had an orchard of over 10,000 trees in the mid-1800's.
