Description

Raised in 1896 by Charles Henry Packham in New South Wales, Australia, this William's Bon Chretien cross is a good quality and reliable pear still extensively grown commercially in Australia. Medium to large greeny-yellow fruit have a pale yellow flesh which is extremely juicy. A compact upright tree suitable for the smaller garden, although as an earlier flowering type not suitable for planting in frost pockets.
