Description

Also known as 'Fountain' grass, this perennial variety produces its flowers (said to resemble a large hairy caterpillar!) in summer, which open red and gradually fade to purple/brown as the seasons progress. The smoky flower plumes soar above a mass of long and narrow green foliage that will turn golden in autumn.
