Description

Bred by John Webster, the head gardener of Gordon Castle, this is a hardy plum for northern districts, and one of only a few Scottish plums. Fruits are greenish-yellow with a sweet, excellent flavour, and delicious when eaten straight from the tree. Stunning white blossom appears during the spring. Gordon Castle is home to Angus and Zara Gordon-Lennox, and is the ancestral base for the Gordon family with a stunningly restored walled garden designed by Arne Maynard, that is open to the public.
