Description
Large globular scented blooms of silver-pink, darker on the reverse, give an air of opulence. Raised by Prof. J.-B. Chauvry (France) 1901 from a sport of Caroline Testout from a cross between Madame de Tartas x Lady Mary Fitzwilliam. This sport tolerates shade, and delivers a profusion of large flowers from the main flowering until the autumn. Madame Testout was a late 19th C couturiere from Grenoble, with fashionable salons in London and in Paris.
