Lightly-cupped quartered blooms of quilled buff-yellow and apricot petals that fade to fawn, with salmon colours on the reverse.. Excellent disease resistance. Raised by Henri Jacotot (France) 1853 from a cross between Desprez á Fleurs Jaune x Souvenir de la Malmaison.An extremely hardy rose, it will flower until stopped by the frosts. The stems should be tied horizontally to encourage breaks at the axils, to produce flowering spurs all along its length.Hall of Fame WFRS 1988
