Trusses of vermilion scarlet blooms are borne in abundance. Excellent disease resistance. Raised by Reimer Kordes (Germany) 1955 from a cross between Obergärtner Wiebicke × Independence, and was introduced by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1956.Stands up to wet weather very well. Gold medal NRS 1954
