Budded Miniature
Budded Miniature roses are exactly what the name suggests, miniature varieties that have been bud-grafted onto a more vigorous rootstock, with the end result of larger stronger plants that are better able to withstand cold weather and fight off pest and disease attacks. Height typically to about 60cms Their only drawback is that in the cross-breeding they have lost some of the delicate fairy-like qualities of the Minifloras and patio roses, and despite their compact appearance are not suitable for life indoors apart from a brief few days at a time. They are however excellent for edging borders and growing in pots outdoors.
