Description

Of unknown origin, but “probably British” (according to Bunyard), this is similar to Merryweather but makes a more compact and ‘twiggy’ tree, so good for the smaller garden. Very deep purple fruit with a wonderfully strong 'damson' taste. One of the best, and suitable for northern UK and for wetter areas.
