Description

This is a very attractive medium-sized tree of upright form, growing to about 6m (20ft), therefore suitable for smaller gardens. The ‘feathery’ pinnate leaves (which are so deeply cut that they give the tree the ‘lace’ part of its name) turn red, orange, or yellow in autumn before falling. Clusters of white or pink flowers are borne in the spring time, and are followed by spherical orange-red berries in autumn.
