Description
A very old variety of cooking or cider apple. Probably raised by Rev. Tom Putt of Trent, Somerset in the late 1700s (or by his uncle - also Tom Putt, of Honiton, Devon, who brought it to Trent). Unusual irregular shaped fruit. Formerly used as cider apple.
