Apple - John Standish

£25.00 - £68.50
Thought to have been raised by John Standish of Ascot in 1873, this first came to notice when it received a Highly Commended at a RHS show in 1921. Very attractive scarlet fruit, this is an apple for those of you who like your apples crisp and sharp. Has a good flavour, plenty of juice and the flesh is very fine-textured. The trees are hardy, vigorous , upright in habit and cropping is heavy.
