Description

Thought to have originated at Arbroath, or to have been brought there from France by the monks of the Abbey. It was known in 1815 but believed to be much older. Fruits have firm, crisp, primrose yellow flesh with a sweet, rich, aromatic flavour and a hint of aniseed.
