Description

Raised in 1933 by W. Seabrook & Sons Ltd., at Boreham, Essex. Introduced in 1938. One of a series of apples all named after precious stones - this one has fruits that have firm, rather coarse-textured, fairly juicy flesh with a sweet, slightly acid and pleasant aromatic flavour.
